Box has been in dry storage for decades. Was part of Uncle's massive estate of records, record players, coin-op devices etc. This is a 65 year old complete 25 record set of pristine Seeburg 1000 1959 Christmas music produced for Seeburg by Capitol Records. Arguably this and the RCA Christmas sets are considered the rarest and the best of all the "old school" Seeburg 1000 Christmas sets.
This is a complete set. They do not appear to have been played. However there may be specks of dust etc, as the set is 65 years old, and clean rooms were not part of the production process in 1959.
Box was opened by me for the first time since going through Uncle's estate. These 16rpm records appear to be unplayed as closer inspection of the extremely tight grooves on several of the set I have closely inspected are as good as I can see. These of course were packed and handled by Seeburg/Capitol staff when packed, so these were definitely handled at some point. I do not see any label wear outside of the normal inner ring which is normal even in sealed sets. I have plenty to verify this by. This was a handheld process of packing in 1959, but the labels and records do not show evidence of "stacking" which is common on used Seeburg 1000 records. As the used records would fall down on each other after a play cycle. I have photographs of each of the 25 records, both A and B sides to prove they are all the same quality as the ones shown here. And also to prevent returns of alternate used or damaged records an unscrupulous buyer may attempt to return. It is for both our safety. And that is why there are no returns or exchanges permitted.
I will offer UPS Insured shipping, as the USPS has proven unreliable during the holiday season.
