Here is a Bing & Grondahl Blue Traditional (Blamalet) Celery / Oblong Serving Dish, Number 378.
It is a rare and wonderful piece with the famous blue fluted / musselmalet motifs expertly painted with the underglaze technique.
The piece is factory second quality in excellent used condition. The dish was made and hand painted in Denmark in the period 1962-1970.
The dish measures approximately 15 inches long by 5 7/8 inches wide by 1 5/8 inches edge height
The dish is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. There is minimal scratching on the surface of the dish. I see no obvious defects or flaws to explain factory second designation. There are some very small minor glaze / painting variances. See detailed photos. I see no glaring issues or concerns.
It is a lovely piece that deserves its place in any collection!
