This is the impossibly rare issue of French Vogue that was edited by film star Marlene Dietrich.

One of the most sought after issues of Paris Vogue, and packed with amazing Dietrich content.

Marlene was a guest editor as part of the series of issues where French Vogue commissioned artists, film and fashion creatives to collaborate exclusively for this magazine and act as EIC  for one month only. Contributors include Snowdon and portraits by the fashion illustrator Rene Bouche and Carl Erickson aka Eric, along with photographs from her archive including a photos with Jean Cocteau, Carole Lombard & Cary Grant, and portraits of Noel Coward and Kenneth Tynan.

Also in this issue are two separate fashion editorials photographed by the great Guy Bourdin.

An exceptional story shot by Helmut Newton.

Henry Clarke fashion edit, and lastly one by Chris von Wangenheim in his signature sultry style.

Note the vintage glass perfume bottles in one shot, great if you collect old scent vessels.

All this and much more besides!

French Vogue dated December / Decembre 1973 - January / Janvier 1974; double issue.

Very good condition.  The cover has light wear and the back has some scuffing: The photos shows the actual magazine you will receive. A super iconic vintage Vogue that is impossible to find now.
