What is HPPE？
HPPE has high strength: more than 10 times that of steel. High modulus: second only to carbon fiber. Low density: smaller than water and able to float on the surface of the water. The physical properties of high-strength and high modulus polyethylene fibers are very excellent. Chemical groups that have high crystallinity and are not easily reactive with chemical agents. Therefore, it is resistant to water, moisture, chemical corrosion, and UV rays, and therefore does not require UV treatment. Corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance, excellent wear resistance, low modulus, and softness, with a long flexural life. The melting point of high-strength and high modulus polyethylene fibers is between 144 and 152C, and short-term exposure to a 110C environment will not cause serious performance degradation.
