You will receive one rooted bamboo stem.

It needs to be planted in a 4" to 6" pot. It must fully root out to the pot before it's ready for the ground

When bamboo stems have been cut, they will not regrow taller from the cut. Instead, new foliage will emerge from the rhizomes, the base of the plant and the nodes on the brown stem. Even though a stem appears dead, it still offers new growth, especially with the use of fertilizer. See pictures as examples. The stems with foliage will be sold first.

Shipped with wrapped root ball. It will be trimmed. May or may not have leaves

For some plants, colder months and shorter day light hours can cause green foliage to turn red, purple, orange, pink or yellow. It is possible to see remnants of this on your plant

Unless otherwise stated, pictures are reference pictures only

*We reserve the right to remove, if any, declining parts of the plant before shipping*

TIPS FOR SUCCESS

●Plant/water immediately. Regular watering

● If you have a full sun/part sun plant and it appears stressed, leave in the shade for a couple of days

●When purchased during Spring, Summer or Fall, you can plant it in the ground. If it's Winter, leave it in the pot and bring indoors until next Spring

If you repot or plant it in the ground:

●Loosen the root ball

● Don't plant too deep. You will want to plant your plant at soil level. If you are unsure, it is better to plant too high than too deep

● Don't cover the crown of the root ball with soil

For growing your plant and plant care, we suggest researching on an .edu website pertaining to your plant. An example is clemson.edu
