American Autowire's Highway 22 has long been the flagship universal system for wiring high-tech, high-end custom vehicles.
To this point, they’ve seen and heard evidence of customers installing the kit in just about every make or model vintage (and some modern) vehicle, off-road trucks and even industrial equipment.
They’re exceptionally grateful to be part of so many builds, and have taken note of some suggestions from over the years to make a great product even better. With those thoughts in mind, American Autowire is pleased to introduce the Highway 22 Plus!
Their goal with the changes in the Highway 22 Plus is to preserve the same feel as the original, with some modernization and ease of use improvements for both backyard and professional builders.
The full list of new features is below:
These original features that made the Highway Series the most popular wiring system available are still part of the new Highway 22 Plus:

Summary: I wasn't sure I would be able to rewire the '58 Chevy Belaire that had only a few remaining wires when it rolled into the shop, but following the picture instructions for my vehicle made it relatively simple. I removed the few remaining wires in the car and started from scratch. In a couple short sessions I was able to get a car that hadn't run in over 25 years going again. The only difficulty I experienced was removing the covers from, the "mega fuse" panels it took more force than I thought it should take. I rarely write reviews for purchased items, but highly recommend this product to anyone who needs to rewire a vehicle.
Pros: Each wire is clearly labeled every few feet. Easy to follow instructions with pictures Extra long wires. Helpful tech team when needed.
Yes, I recommend this product.
