This is an original work undertaken in a very loose realism style in acrylic for the fabric areas and oils for the skin areas over a artist ink background set on canvas size 50x60 cm (20x24 inches).  Each work is given 3 three coats of artists varnish to ensure protection therefore does not need to be behind glass.  You are purchasing these works direct from the artist at least 50% lower than gallery prices.

Please Note: As this is an original work it will be shipped as canvas rolled in a secure tube to avoid damage in transit.

The skin areas are painted in acrylic wash built up in layers to keep paint profile to a minimum. other areas such as fabric and hair maybe undertaken in thicker high profile acrylic with bristle brushers and sometimes palette knife.  These loose works are best viewed at around 3 meters and all will snap into focus showing its looseness and flare which is much better for this type of work.  Paint it too tight "Realism" and it would become photographic and lack impact.  Please note the paint profile does not always show in the photo which was undertaken before varnishing to stop flare, therefore appearance is more flat, colours can also be more vibrant than in the listing.  

SHIPPING.  European shipping of original art has changed since the 31 December 2021.  All art shipping must have VAT included in the purchase (this was always the case for business sellers such as myself) We have to complete customs forms, and verification of the artwork this end to ensure a smooth transit, so please allow around 3 extra working days for this.  I now use Spanish Royal Mail who are familiar with the process, so once forms are completed, shipping is around 10 days for Spain to US. 

Should you wish for a different size to fit your wall space I will paint up to 1.5 meters, the size of my painting board.  Make contact through eBay giving me an idea of size required and I will give you a price.
