This auction is for a 1930's Lincoln Bennett & Co. of Sackville Street in Piccadilly London silk finish top hat, size 7 and the accompanying leather travel storage case. This hat was sold through Alfred Hall of Darlington St. This top hat is in remarkable condition for its age having only two minor wear spots on the underside of the rim brim. The inside headband shows some discoloration for prior wear, but is all intact. The leather case is in great condition, with the inside quilted padding and straps intact. The latch and lock are intact, but no key is available. The exterior name plate was personalized for W.M. Aikman, Jr.
