First under command of navy lieutenant-commander Wilhelm Schulz [and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross] up until August 1941, and then under lieutenant-commander [and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves] Johann Mohr, which sent the British light cruiser HMS Dunedin and the Free French corvette Mimose to bottom.
