This is an old stock certificate from the Milwaukee & Prairie du Chien Railway Company, issued for 9 shares on April 23, 1861 and signed by the President and Transfer Agent.  Printed by Latimer Bros. & Seymour, Stationers of New York, with a vignette of an eagle on a shield.
