The work resembles, a mixture from Arcimboldo and hieronymus Bosch,
A work from a tormented soul!
The work shows an astronaut laying death in a strage planet.
As it have an Astronaut composed by other figures, and also have some quote of mystical and demonical creatures,
Being from the 1970's (1973), i could not guess as if it was from the 90's as the work being from a tatoo owner shop or terror comic artist.
But at tha time in Portugual, with cencsorship it would not be very good to paint or to display the same work of art.
There's also the mythincal part, that not everybody, especially at that time bvelieved that Man went to moon,

Every time i look at the work, something new shows up.
It will be always a good conversation theme, and also, even displayed among top artists, i am almost sure, that every eye will be on this work.
As it captuires the yey, and imerses our vision and thoughts.
