Goji Berry (meaning the berry of happiness) is a plant known for centuries in China and Tibet that has recently begun to be grown experimentally in Greek fields.

The taste of Goji Berry is similar to that of raisins, leaving a slight sensation from a combination of cherries, gooseberries.

It can be eaten raw or cooked.

The Chinese make soups with this berry and also make wine.

The leaves and tender shoots are eaten as a vegetable.

In the West, Goji Berries are added to mixed nuts, muesli and cornflakes or drunk as a juice in a blender with the addition of water.
