ITEM DESCRIPTION:
An incredible, very large Satsuma bowl that was originally used by the Chinese for when the weather turned cold, they would bring their goldfish inside and keep them in these pots. This hand painted beauty is adorned with 3 cartouches depicting a woman playing a Guqui or Chinese Zither. Has gold accents and an overall raised relief design. The inside has illustrations of goldfish. In excellent condition, no damage or repairs.
