This Denon DR-M30HX cassette tape deck is a great addition to any home audio setup. With three heads and stereo L/R RCA audio outputs, it produces high-quality sound. The sleek black design adds a touch of elegance, and the included remote provides convenience for controlling your cassette playback. While this item does have some issues, it still functions and can be a valuable asset to any audiophile's collection.

I bought this cassette deck a while ago to digitize some of my family's tapes and maybe record a few of my own, and while I was able to get by for a while, I found that it has caused me more problems. At its current state, the deck is a bit finicky and would rather record on new, unsealed tapes rather than taping over pre-recorded ones (I'm told it has something to do with either the bias control or the recording head needing to be demagnetized). In addition, the deck did chew/mangle a few of my tapes, which really left a sour taste in my mouth as some of those tapes were more precious recordings. Finally, when it comes to playing more worn tapes, the audio seems to drop off after a few seconds (I'm not sure what exactly is the cause). I'm hoping someone with the expertise will be able to find some way of fixing this deck to top condition, because my options seem to be running try at the moment. I would probably rather send out my other semi-working deck to be repaired.

The remote is dusty, but I will clean it prior to shipping.
