This is a ticket stub for the September 2, 1998 baseball game between the Florida Marlins and St. Lous Cardinals played at Pro Player Stadium.  The Cardinals won 14-4.  This was during the mad home run chase in 1998; Mark McGwire hit two home runs and collected 4 RBI.  McGwire's homers were #58 & 59 for the year and #445 & 446 for his career.  Pitcher Kent Mercker hit a grand slam!  Mark Kotsay also homered.  Please see our other eBay auctions for more collectible tickets & stubs.
