These are handmade Wellington silhouette celluloid frames

made in France around 1940s.　
This frame has Wellington silhouette which is popular along

with crown punt and punt frames in French vintage,

and it has unique atmosphere by adding some cat eye taste.
The square shaped Wellington frame with French vintage

silhouette, the two-dot front and temples are very nice accents.
The color is a precious yellow tortoise, which was often used

for French frames in the 1940s, and the texture of the

celluloid is moist and transparent to the touch.
These are dead stock and have been kept as a collection item

after purchase, and have been cleaned, adjusted,

and polished before being exhibited.
The size is 41/24 FPD 65mm in actual size, which is exquisite

size feeling like vintage French frames.　
This is a very rare vintage French frame of this age and condition.
The lenses are UV400 brown 35% lenses,

so you can use them as sunglasses right away.
