THIS IS A GENUINE VINTAGE SET OF MINIATURE GLASS ANIMALS which date from the 1960s right through to the 1980s.

A real mix ... these items have formed part of a large collection.   These are in multi-coloured glass in the distinctive style of Murano, these glass animals are true vintage.  

Five miniature items ... 

The first is a fine cockerel.   Predominantly green with white flashes ... he has a tiny chip to his top tail feather.   He stands 8.5 cm tall and has a maximum length (from tail feather to beak) of 8 cm.

The second item is a tiny clear glass creature.    With brown ears and tail, with white/black eyes and a tiny black dot nose ... he appears to be perfect.    He stands just in excess of 5 cm in height and has a maximum length of 2 cm.  

The third item is the most modern.   A yellow octopus which has a clear glass dome head with a colourful interior.   On a single wire, with a blue/clear glass base and green plant life.   This item peppers to be perfect.   A maximum height of 10.5 cm, with a diameter at the base of 3.5 cm.

The fourth item is the green penguin style animal.    In green glass, with white hat and eyes and yellow beak.   This chap also seems perfect.    He stands just 5.5 cm tall.  

The final item is the most beautiful coloured teal glass, but perhaps the ugliest!   I think this is supposed to be a cat with a fish or bird in its mouth.   I believe there may be the very tip of one ear missing, but this may not be so.   He could be complete.    In a slightly crouching position, with the most fabulous long tail ... This item stands 7.5 cm tall and has a maximum length of 5.5 cm approximately.     

A super, genuine vintage set of miniature glass items in entirely sound and clean condition - accurately described and photographed.
