Up for sale is CX241, Lake’s most forgiving shoe model with the super-flexible upper construction. Please see below for the descriptions of each part that’s composing the shoes. CX241 in this listing boasts vegitable-tanned fullgrain leather from ECCO in Denmark and improved larger toe blocks and is brand new – they were never worn and are in great condition.

LAST

CX/TX Competition Last - With a profile specifically designed for very high-cadence riding & higher pressure, Lake Competition last features a more curved profile than the Sport last (used on models such as the 177/176 series. The main differences include increased toe pitch & heel lift, a tighter heel & a slightly wider ball girth to allow the foot to expand under high pedaling pressures. Competition is the second roomiest last in Lake's last collection and only a very small number of people with incredibly large foot volume will need THE roomiest Comfort Plus last (found on the 201 series).

OUTSOLE

Lake Competition 100% Carbon Fiber Sole - 3 hole cleat pattern for Shimano/Look/Time, etc. It's also compatible with a Wahoo SPEEDPLAY cleat with an adapter. *Note that cleats are not included in the sale.

UPPER

High-quality full grain cow leather (the most desired part of leather that retains the most surficial layer of cow skin) from the Dannish manufacturer ECCO, for the supple feel and Nufoam lining that offers extreme breathability, light weight performance, moisture management and anti-microbial properties all in one package. The unique segmented leather upper panels guarantee that the shoe embraces your foot like a glove, no matter the shape.

The CX241 employs the same Thermaform technology as found in CX332. The Internal carbon heel counter is heat-moldable that you can shape it to your own foot for secure heel hold that will stabilize the foot and eliminate heel slip. A stable foot allows for more power transfer and less fatigue.

SIZING

Please consult the size guide on Lake’s website prior to the purchase, if you’re not sure about an appropriate size for your feet. There’s also an instructional video titled “Lake Shoe Fitting: How shoes are sized and finding your shoe size” on YouTube.

SHIPPING

The shoes will be shipped from Japan via FedEx or DHL Expedited service. Once the package is handed to the courier on my end, you may not change the delivery address or there will be additional charge for that. Therefore, please make sure that the address you’re providing to me is where you or someone on your behalf will be able to receive the package, and double-check that the address is complete with no information missing.

Also, delivery to a remote area may incur additional charge (usually around US$20). Search with keywords such as "fedex out of delivery area" or "dhl remote area" and you'll find their lists of these areas.
