Antique French White Opaline 'Bulle de Savon' Glass Box with Acorn Finial and Eagle Heads Handles

Rare antique French white opaline 'Bulle de Savon' glass box consisting of mounted bowl and cover. Bowl is decorated with beautifully crafted bagel heads shaped handles. Cover lid is toped wirh acorn finial.  

'Bulle de Savon' opaline glass glows with fiery red when put up to the light. Shades of pink glowing are visible in the lower part of the bowl.  


Dimensions:

Overall height of the box is 19 cm (7.4"). Widest diameter is 10 cm (4") excluding handles.

The weight is 511 gr (18 oz)

Condition:

Very good antique condition overall. Tiniest chips on the edge of the internal side of the cover lid, totally not visible from outside and hardly noticeable when open. A little air bubble in the glass, can be seen on last photos. No cracks or repairs. Few sign of wear to the metal details, mostly in the bottom part off the base. No scratches to the glass surface.

We will offer free shipping for this piece. It will be carefully packed and shipped by French Post services with tracking number and INSURANCE. The piece would normally arrive to US within 5-8 days. By now we ship to Americas and Europe. Please make sure to be aware of your local importing duties to avoid any unpleasant surprises or delays.

Piece will be carefully wrapped in professional air bubble plastic layers and placed in a thick cardboard box.
Returns are accepted within 30 days and will be fully refunded upon piece delivery back. Return shipping however will be on the buyers cost.
