Vintage Hand-Crafted Decorated Scandinavian Bent Wood Oval Box HP Sweden

Vintage hand crafted and hand painted oval covered box Made in Sweden.  It is in Very Good Condition, no chips, no cracks, all original and still retains old tissue paper lining.  The words “Egen hard ar guid vara” are carved along side of bottom edge and the bottom surface is marked Made in Sweden.  It measures 7 ½” Wide (includes cover) by 4” High by 2 7/8” Deep.  This vintage oval box with lid and carved handle is a true piece of Scandinavian folk art, decorative and unique.   To take the lid off you simply lift the lid at one end.  Photos are part of description.
