Mounting base is 1-3/4" wide x 7-1/4" high. Made out of cast iron with a smooth antique brown look. Unbranded, but has a letter P on the back of the base. This is not a vintage item, but i can tell it is a good quality item that you will be happy with. Questions welcome. Prompt shipping. Thanks
