Archibald Kenrick of West Bromwich  a famous company making all sorts of ironwork over centuries. The factory is still there and I always look out for it when I get on the high level section of the M5. I went to the factory about 30 years or so ago and it was an interesting experience, lots of very old machines in there then.

The weight has the name cast into it on the top,  the date has been obliterated but I think it is into Antique territory. it is well used and has edge damage and some rust. see pictures too
