One of my favorite carbs

Summary: I put this carb on a 364 Nailhead in a 1960 buick. The carb runs very well out of the box and it is easy to tune. It is very convenient that it has bolt patterns for square bore and spread bore. There are a lot of options for vacuum ports and throttle linkage, so I had no trouble getting the throttle hooked up and the Dynaflow transmission kickdown working. The only cons to this carb is that the tuning kit with metering rods and jets is quite pricy, about $80 for the kit. I have also had problems with the locking nut for the secondary air door adjustment. The casting is very thin where the nut threads in and it has 2-3 threads, so it is very easy to strip the fitting and then you will need to epoxy the nut in place, losing any ability to adjust the air door in the future.
