Antique Brass Balling Gun Vet Medication Pill Pusher Cow Vintage

An old neat vet tool made by Day & Son's of Crewe in England for giving medication to animals.

Used to pull the tongue to the side and slip medication down the animals throat, if the tongue slipped out sometimes a finger would get lost. This was made to put a capsule in, insert the animals mouth then push the medicine down, saving fingers! This was used a lot! Still works, great patina! The length is 18" it has a slight bend in it and a few dints and marks so was obviously used back in the day in fact it still is in good working order!
