This is a Robert Simmons Pottery of California Dog Figure. He was made during the 1940's or 50's. The glaze is gloss and he is decorated with painted patches on white.

The Dog is 2 1/2" wide and 5" tall. There are no cracks or chips. There is some very light crazing. The piece is not marked.
