Fossil corals were naturally formed million years ago, when silica in ocean started to harden around corals and eventually replaced the coral content. It is a kind of agate in coral’s original structure - an elegant way the nature uses to preserve the beauty of coral forever. Crystals often grow around agate and form geodes.
