This Rosewood Asian Chinese Mask is in amazing vintage like-new condition. He has been in the same family for 4 generations.

Provenance: Many hand-carved masks in Asian theme were created in the 19th Century. My best recollection of its origin comes from the history of my military family.  My great uncle was a Merchant Marine on a supply ship during WWII.  He brought the mask home to my Great Grandmother while on leave in San Francisco. He called it The Happy Warrior.

The mask measures 7" x 5". There is a brass hanging hook on the back.
