A late 1800'S - early 1900's Japanese shunga, erotic print, fold out book.  

  This is part of a personal collection we brought from Kyoto, Japan.

  There are 12 prints printed on Japanese washi paper. 

  After the 12 prints there is a long description / story printed on the following pages in small written Japanese. 

  It's older Japanese written in a stylized (willow) form so very difficult for modern Japanese to read.

  It must be a good story, there are 24 pages of it.

   This fold out book is covered in patterned silk on both sides.

   It's 3 5/8 inches wide x 5 inches tall. (9.25 x 12.75)

   Each print is two pages together, so each print is 7 1/4 inches wide x 5 inches tall. (18.5 x 12.75 cm)
