2001 McFARLANE NHL * SURPRISE CHASE VARIANT * 6'' SERIES 1
On the front of the clamshell there is a signature of Raymond Bourque in red sharpie.
This very rare figure was only enclosed in the very 1st wave of McFarlane's
premier Sports line which all started with NHL Hockey series 1 in 2001. As those
that collect know, this figure was not in the regular set at all, but was inserted as
a completely surprise figure.
Our understanding is that McFarlane did a repaint on the figures from his NHLPA
figures from 2000 adding the players official uniforms and randomly inserted
them into the cases of his premier Sports Line
Hockey Series 1 cases.

condition. includes any/all accessories. *** NOTE *** the top part of the hockey stick is currently undone from the handle but it is at the bottom of the case at the top (the two parts are underlined framed in blue) and all that remains is to insert them together. the item was kept in clean
