Here is an amazing, OLD WOODEN BOX in Green paint over black or dark brown, that I used to hold my wooden bowls on my Dry Sink, and as a Trencher Centerpiece on the dining room table for Holidays.  I think this was originally a tool box, but handles are long gone.  When I found this in an Antique Store, it was being used as a Trencher on a long farm table to hold candles and bowls (which gave me the idea to put my bowls in) It is very old, Pine, I think, with metal corners.  I am not sure how old the paint is.  The edges of the box/trencher are worn, nicked, scuffed, smoothed over.  I am guessing the box itself is from around 1900 or even late 1800s.

SIZE: TOTAL: Approx  35 1/2" long, 8 1/2" wide and 8 1/4" high on ends, and rest 7" high.     Weighs about 10 pounds.         All measurements  to the best of my ability to measure.
