Sandy Fussell is very interested in history and works in information technology. The Samurai Kids books are her first literary venture. She lives in Australia.

Rhian Nest James has illustrated dozens of children's books, including the other books in the Samurai Kids series. A native of Wales, she now lives in Australia.
