Vintage nostalgic lookback at the pilot's association's publication of last century personal airplanes.
Bill Meuser was a pilot, businessman, and philanthropist from the great northwest of Arkansas.
In the early years of the Covid, a visit for a routine medical procedure took Bill, his wife, and his sister, all within a few days.
So many good people were taken during those times.
I bought the contents of his desk at auction.
He loved to fly and kept a lot of his favorite publications of that age.
I don't know if others like to open the pages of what they read as I do, rather than looking at a small screen, but thought it would be good to list some of these things that only a pilot would appreciate.
Bundle includes various copies of Aerostar Log from May '72 through Spring of '89 along with other articles that were important to him.
The condition is like the day it was given to him and is stored in a custom binder that has protected it over the decades.
Also included is an Aerostar captain's ball cap and some other new product and maintenance pages from his files.
There is also a History of Aerostar from 1963 to 1985 and the 15th Anniversary of AOA.
A look back for AeroStar pilots who have lived the changes in the new century.
