Condition: These USED miniature sheets are in excellent condition with no smears or stains. The sheets and stamps retain their full gum and have not been previously hinged.

Background To Issue: Six great navigators who helped put Australia's 32,000 kilometres of coastline on the map were featured in this special issue of two miniature sheets, released to coincide with the opening of the Australia 99 stamp exhibition in Melbourne. The designs were first used in 1963-64 for a set of high-value definitives and then were re-issued when Australia changed to decimal currency
