From a local estate auction: an empty bottle of Guerlain Shalimar perfume in its original box.  The box has a purple velvet finish on all sides and measures 4.75" long by 3" wide by 1.5" tall.  The top is printed with 'Guerlain Paris' in gold script letters and on the inside there is the rearing horse logo of Guerlain.  The bottle is 3.5" high and is made of clear glass with a blue glass stopper and neck.  The faceted bottom is marked 'made in France.'  There's a paper label on the body for Shalimar that is in good condition, not chipped.  The blue top has faceted edges around the curved top and has 'Guerlain France' printed in gold.

This is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, but the box shows more wear on the outside particularly on the bottom, as shown.  There is also some staining in the box in the depression in which the bottle sits, as shown - but the bottle is fine.  The only way it could be improved is if it were still full!  I did not rinse the bottle because it still has lots of fragrance lingering inside.
