Visible production flaw (included in listing pictures) very near the center of plate approximately the size of a pencil eraser. Appears to be a defect from the ceramic/enamel overlay process on the copper. This does blend in and is not obvious at first glance.

The artist: Sascha Brastoff (1917-1993) was a performer, designer, and the founder of a successful production ceramics factory and line that operated in Los Angeles, California, from c.1946 – 1962.
