* A light, hand carved wooded container / bowl which is ‘held’ / flanked by
two figures on either end with an elongated reptilian lid carved in relief on its top. In Ifugao mythology, the monitor lizard motif is of historical value and is symbolic of good fortune and prosperity.
* The piece is approximately 11cm in height, 10cm
at its widest and 25cm in length, weighing 449 gms.
* The object is in good vintage condition displaying a few
signs of wood related wear commensurate with age (e.g. to the rim of the lid, as photographed).
All items will be packaged with care and I will ensure it
is suitable for transit.
