I found this antimacassar set in the box shown tucked away in my mother-in-law's buffet.  It looks like it had never been used, she often put the "good stuff" away to keep it nice instead of using it.  This crocheted set looks machine made rather than handmade and feels like cotton thread.  The chair back piece measures approximately 24" x 15" and the arm pieces 15" x 11".   I would recommend hand washing and lay flat to dry to prevent any shrinking.  It's a very nice vintage set, in excellent condition with slight yellowing due to age.
