BGM coupling pinions are bullet proof. Developed for the enormous power and torque of today's engines, they are made of a high-alloy steel (SCM415 / 15 CrMo 5) to the highest manufacturing standards. The enormously high strength of the base material (up to 1100N/mm2, HRC 58-62) provides a reassuringly safe basis for the production of BGM pinions.

The production meets the high level standard for Honda's gearbox production. Each individual part receives a test report. BGM thus has a permanent continuous quality assurance.

The characteristic feature of the BGM sprockets is their black colouring as well as the practical inscription indicating the number of teeth the sprocket itself has and for which primary wheel it is suitable. With 24 teeth it is longer reduced and offers by simple exchange of the sprocket a transmission ratio change for more final speed. On the other hand, the 22 tooth sprocket can be used to shorten the reduction ratio, ideal for city or speed-oriented concepts.

BGM clutch sprockets are the perfect complement to the indestructible BGM Superstrong clutch.
All BGM Superstrong clutches with 22, 23 and 24 teeth are equipped with this sprocket at the factory. It can be combined with all Cosa2 clutch types (recognizable by at least 8 spring seats).

As lubricant we recommend BGM Pro Street gear oil (BGM2025, corresponds to specification API GL-3).
