For sale is an original antique 19th-century still-life watercolour on paper depicting an elegant arrangement of mixed coloured roses and forget-me-nots displayed on a marble shelf, a bumble bee and also be found amongst the flowers in the lower right. This delicate and charming artwork is the creation of a British artist who signed the artwork lower right "A.H. Hopkins". The image measures 12.4" by 13.2", inches and is housed behind glass in a traditional 19th century decoratively molded gilt gesso arch-top frame, measuring 23.2" by 20.1" inches. With E.F. Johnson, Carvers & Guilders, of Worcester, label on the frame verso.
