My Sonic Lab Signature Platinum Ultra Low Impedance MC Cartridge Made in Japan

Description

Description of item
The ultra-low impedance MC cartridge ``Eminent'' released in 2003 was the first to commercialize an MC cartridge with the design goal of ``low source impedance, high output energy...''.

With this introduction, for the first time in the world, we were able to reproduce the power of reproduced sound brought about by "ultra-low impedance, high energy output...!"

The driving force behind this was our successful development of the world's only special core material, SH-μX. Even though efforts have been made to improve the performance of magnets and introduce various materials, there has always been a limit to the magnetic properties of the core material that cannot be surpassed. In other words, even if a strong magnetic circuit is introduced, it will not be possible to achieve results that exceed the capabilities (characteristics) of the "core material" in the alternating current magnetic field. This problem has been a problem for many years, but existing magnetic materials cannot overcome this problem. After many years of consideration, Mysonic Lab's special core material ``SH-μX'' was successfully developed. Its characteristics are that it can obtain high output energy due to "improved saturation magnetic flux density (Bs)" and that "improved initial magnetic permeability (μi)" provides low magnetostriction and excellent response (transient). However, this characteristic became the basis for the development of "Eminent," which achieved low impedance (low internal output) and high energy output.

Since then, Mysonic has made numerous upgrades aiming for even greater heights, and has even reached the point of commercializing ``Signature Gold.'' Now, after further research, we will develop and announce ``Signature Platinum.'' The major difference is the adoption of a "Titanium base" and a "Boron cantilever."

By mounting a high-quality magnetic circuit on a "high-strength base," we draw out the difference in strength from aluminum alloy (ultra super duralumin) and aim for even more precise reproducibility. By adopting a "boron cantilever", we aimed to add a sense of speed and responsiveness similar to "Ultra Eminent Bc".

In particular, "titanium base" is a material that inevitably increases material costs and is extremely difficult to cut, but by overcoming this and adding surface hardening treatment (black/IP processing), the characteristics of the material are further brought out. I was very successful.

If we were to compare the differences between "Gold" and "Platinum," we would find that "Gold" has a calm, youthful, and carefree nature, while "Platinum" is characterized by a more detailed, responsive, and speedy feel. You can say that.
