Jackson Stars Randy V

This is the Japanese made Jackson Randy V. I think it was made in 2006 based on the serial form of the Jackson Stars period, which was manufactured from around 1999 to around 2009.

Since it is equipped with a 24f specification equipped with a Floyd Rose tremolo and an EMG-81 (both 2006 date), the detailed model number seems to be Jackson Stars RR-J1E.

Although there are no signs of solder replacement on the back of the pot, there is a possibility that the electrical system may have been modified later, such as the wiring being bundled with shrink tubes, and the octave tuning may not have been correct. Since the saddle screw exceeds the range of the recess on the arm-up side of the body, the possibility of replacement cannot be ruled out, so it is sold as the Randy V type.

Since it has an ebony fingerboard, there is no doubt that it is a high-end model when compared to the catalog and other specifications, and the construction itself is very careful and the sound is perfect.

If it is an RR-J1E, the body will be made of ash wood + pasted maple top according to the catalog specifications, but the paint is filled with black and the wood grain is hard to see inside.

Crispy edges, speedy sound rise, glossy high range It has a wide range typical of EMG, low noise, and clear sound even with high gain sound.

Although there are buckle scratches and scratches, the fret height is sufficient and there are almost no string grooves.
