This is the Loose version, it does not include the original box or manual - game only. This game works like a charm. I have cleaned it and tested it on my Gameboy Color system, it works perfectly with no problems whatsoever. I checked to see if the battery inside the cartridge works, and it does, there are no problems with it. It saves every time I load the game, it pops up my save and lets me save as well each time. I don't know if the game will need a new battery soon or not but I will test it for you to make sure the battery is still working at that time.
