Very scarce work of calligraphy by the engraver Gaetano Giarrè active in Florence from 1795 to 1825 circa.

Not dated but of 1808 as indicated in the foot of page 10.

The collection is made up of 17 engraved plates and it si complete. At the end there are thre plates (n. 10, 12, 13) not belonging to this work

The plates show a seriues of models of writing (alfabeto corsivo all'italiana, carattere inglese, alfabeto minuscolo, metodo pendente per acquisire un ugual distanza, carattere formato all'italiana, portamento corretto ec..). 

In fair conditions, wearings signas and handwritten notes.

Softcoeval cover with handwritten title in poor general conditions with wearings. Binding almost lacks, the greatest part of plates are loose. Inside pages are in fair conditions with foxing and stains. In 4. Dim. 28,5x20,5 cm. Pp. (1)+17+3.

Rarissima opera di calligrafia dell'incisore Gaetano Giarrè attivo a Firenze dal 1795 al 1825 circa.

Senza data ma del 1808 come riportato in calce alla tavola 10.

La raccolta è composta da 17 tavole incise ed è completa. In fine sono state rilegate tre tavole (n. 10, 12, 13) non appartenenti a questa opera,

Le tavole mostrano una serie di modelli di scrittura (alfabeto corsivo all'italiana, carattere inglese, alfabeto minuscolo, metodo pendente per acquisire un ugual distanza, carattere formato all'italiana, portamento corretto ec..). 

In discrete condizioni, tracce d'uso e note manoscritte.

Copertina morbida coeva con titolo manoscritto in mediocri condizioni generali con usure, parti mancanti e macchie. Legatura quasi assente, la gran parte delle tavole sono sciolte. All'interno le pagine si presentano in discrete condizioni con fioriture e macchie. In 4. Dim. 28,5x20,5 cm. Pp. (1)+17+3.
