These are my Premium scales. Vacuum Stabilized with dyed resin.
These are super dense (very hard)
They are cut from special spalted logs after 1-2 years of air drying
Kiln dried 12-24 hours to remove all moisture and fix then grain
Vacuum stabilized with premium resin 12-24 hours
Kiln dried till fully cured
Machined to rough shape and size
Once fully cured they are sanded and finished to final dimensions.
You may encounter small chips, tiny checks or voids. This is normal for this process.
You can fill any low spots with CA glue or epoxy.
Sand to minimum 400 dry
wet sand 600-3000 as desired

Oak Tree Farm is a small Oak and Cherry tree farm located in North Florida.
All my trees are Organically grown and maintained. Trees are harvested only when damaged by storms or birds.
Once the tree is harvested it is left to dry naturally for a minimum of two years. After that time it is rough milled and stored indoors for three months.
Once the wood has rested it is milled to its final dimensions. Finally it's planed and sanded.
