Blitz All out Attack The Promo

Blitz with an originally intended to promote an internet album release, so these strictly were promos in 2010, but I’ve got hold of them and they’re brought to you as somewhat of a rarity as only a small box exists, now however very much for sale.  There are 12 tracks in  total, both of the first singles are on in full, the said named EP their debut release is here, 45 revs attack the lot, and Razors and Never Surrender along with classics off Voice of a Generation, such as Propaganda and Moscow along with the demo version of 4Q and New Age is Here as well as a track off Nidge's last album, studio one anyway, the excellent Walk Away.  It’s a classic, it was never intended for public sale, very limited very rare with a great card cover with a paper insert biography for some interesting liner notes, it’s a great record, get it while it lasts.  Voice of a generation, it was.

SELLING POINTS

Many indie top 10 singles in their day

A top 30 UK National charts album

One of the best bands to come out of the early 80’s on any level

Massive cult following worldwide, a classic band

Appeared on Channel 4’s the Tube back in the 80’s as well as featured on the UK DK video back in the day.

Blitz Here with a selection of their best off the All Out Attack, Voice of a Generation album selected singles, demos and a track taken from  Nidge's comeback Blitz album, Walk Away, Mackie and Nidge's Suffragette City,

a Bowie cover. for one of the last singles on the No Future Label before it finally fizzled out in about 1985. It also split off into Future Records for the Second Empire Justice album and Telecommunications single, which didn't feature Nidge or Mackie, Telecommunications a half decent single, but they took the excitement, fun and urgency out of it, it wasn't a bad Manchester, New Orderesque go but it wasn't for them,

it was just dull to be honest. This selection here is class though, every track a belter. Also featuring the classic New Age which featured on Channel 4 The Tube show that was where it worked, that great 77meets 80's charts meets Blitz style, that kind of sound really worked and they should have stayed there. There are enough miserable Mancunians in the world we didn't need 4 more, glad to see Nidge and Mackie agreed. Blitz a classic band - much missed.

Blitz - Tracks  are -   Voice of a Generation ,   Razors in the night ,  Warriors  Propaganda  , Scream, We are the boys ,   Moscow , New Age  , Walk Away  Suffragette City
