 Description:
 Vera is a British crime drama series based on novels of the same name, written by crime writer Ann Cleeves. It was first broadcast on ITV on 1 May 2011, and to date, ten series have aired, with the latest debuting on 12 January 2020. The series stars Brenda Blethyn as the principal character, Detective Chief Inspector Vera Stanhope. Vera is a nearly retired employee of the fictional 'Northumberland & City Police', who is obsessive about her work and driven by her own demons. She plods along in a constantly dishevelled state, but has a calculating mind and, despite her irascible personality, she cares deeply about her work and comrades. She often proves her superior skills by picking up small errors in her co-workers' thought processes. Vera forms a close relationship with sergeants Joe Ashworth (David Leon) and Aiden Healy (Kenny Doughty).

1. Shipping time:
If your item is to be sent to/from an International destination your delivery tends to take about 2-4 weeks.

If you have not received your goods at close of business approx. 6-8 weeks after shipping (see date quoted by post office after which we can lodge a complaint in delivery estimate email), please get back to me ASAP so I can chase it up for you.

 NB: DVDs that are sold as Region 2/4 (or 1/4) are dual layered. The packaging often only lists Region 2 (or Region 1) but these DVDs should be playable on all Region 4 DVD players. But may not play on devices such as X-Box, PC's. Mac's and Playstations.
 


 

 

3. Handling time:

  1. Goods in stock are typically shipped within 2 business days after payment is received.

  2. Note that goods sent from different countries may have different holidays than Australia.

IMPORTANT DVD INFORMATION FOR MY US & CANADIAN CUSTOMERS:

As per the auction these are Europe Region 2 DVDs (US/Canada are Region 1) and you need a multi-regional (multi-zone) DVD player to play them!

BUT don't panic just yet :-)

Many DVD players are easy to unlock.
Let me know the brand and model number of your DVD player so I see if there is a simple unlock code for your player.

Many of my US/Canadian customers chose to play or copy these DVDs on a PC before playing them.

I also see there are many economical Multi Region DVD players on EBay ($35-50).
Just do a search if you wish.

It seems a shame to let go of this great DVD set.
