This workstation laptop got me through Mechanical Engineering Grad School where I ran Solidworks every day all day. It was a power house back then. I ordered this as a customized build picking the best graphics card of the time, and the second best mobile processor. It was super speedy. After grad school I kept using it over the years for hobbies and it never felt like it got "slow". Put a few more ram sticks in it, upsized hard drives, installed windows 10, etc over the years. Runs windows 10 just as fast as it did with 7. I'm only parting ways with it because it has been sitting on a shelf for the last 3 years collecting dust. Feeling like time to upgrade.

Fresh install of Windows 10. Ready for you to give it your user name. Yes, that fresh. It won't have all the drivers unique to this model but I've always been able to get them from Lenovo/Thinkpad/IBM and install them with no issue.

Hard drive caddy for a 2.5" drive is empty and waiting for more storage.

M.2 500GB storage is installed taking up very little space.

Keyboard is backlit. Keyboard is feeling a little sticky. I have to press the keys harder than normal. It might need some TLC, or worse, replacement.

Has a fingerprint scanner.

Optical drive included, but also have 2 caddies for more 2.5" drives. I had this thing loaded down with storage in my day.

The battery is new as of January of 2020. Battery life is as good as every, but that wasn't this computers strong suit.

Original shipping box will be used

I have a compatible dock in a seperate listing. And also compatible power bricks.
