Up for consideration is a Larry Laslo for Mikasa glass vase. This is another piece of my Grandmothers. It has been in one home. Back in the 80s my mom told me Mikasa items were s sign of sophistication and collectible. Many times they were given for weddings and anniversaries. This was an anniversary gift. Its kind of funny to think about because my grandma had a little antique shop in Upland California. But Mikasa was the thing back then.. The purple neck has some light scratches as I have shown and they are not felt by touch. That could be from the stretching. This is a heavy substantial piece weighing almost 7lbs unboxed. It measures almost 12" H and almost 9" W at the belly. Interestingly enough the silver aventurine flecks in the base are usually something that happens with Murano glass from the 50s 60s. Sometimes the gold will turn silver. Im sure they were going for the Murano Toso look. Please look at all the pictures as they are part of the description. This vase will be packed very well and double boxed in all new material. I am very good at packing as my cousin works for FedEx. Thank you for looking.
