The superb Oxford Diecast 1/72 scale diecast & plastic WWI Royal Flying Corps Bristol F2B Biplane, A-7288.

The aircraft was crewed by pilot Lt. A.E McKeever & observer Sgt. L.F. Powell of 11 Sqn. RFC, in November 1917.

Oxford says:This 1:72 scale model is the first WWI aircraft to enter the Oxford Aviation series and is particularly pertinent as we commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the conflict that was to change history in so many ways. You can see one preserved example displayed as part of the Shuttleworth Collection at Old Warden in Bedfordshire.

In real life, the Bristol F2B was a British 2-seater biplane fighter and reconnaissance aircraft of the First World War, flown by the Royal Flying Corps.

  The model is presented card window box & can be displayed on the display stand provided.

The plane, (Oxford no. AD005) measures 4 1/2" (115mm) in length & has a wingspan of 6 1/2" (155mm), & is new, mint & boxed.
