I acquired these when I bought a house built in 1910; they were on the dining room ceiling fixture which had Arts & Crafts/Art Nouveau details.  They are small clip-on shades made of glazed paper with metal frameworks.  Each measures 4" high with a lower diameter of 4" and upper diameter of 3."  The inner clip mechanism is a bit over 2" in diameter.  The paper has mellowed to a deep ecru or golden brown, brighter with light shining through.  Each one is hand painted with swirling Art Nouveau inspired motifs, as shown; the design is slightly raised and repeats four times around each shade.  They are quite lovely!

These are in fair antique condition. The frames are all excellent but not the paper.  One is intact but has a slight band around the bottom; 2 have small holes with missing pieces; and 1 has a bashed-in hole with the paper still there.  There is a fifth shade with pretty severe damage as shown in the last photos.  Still, these are rare original fixtures; they have a genuine look for your period light fixtures or serve as a pattern for reconditioning.
